It's getting colder out and I'm craving some good slow-cooked soups, especially the potato variety. Does anyone have a good crock-pot recipe for potato soup? If not, your other favorite recipes for hearty soups are good too. Thanks!

crock pot chilli?
Ok, I am new to cooking and only really know how to use the crock pot.
So, I was wondering if anyone has a really easy
step by step recipe for chilli made in the crockpot.
I'd like to make it for my boyfriend's birthday on Monday.
Thanks in advance.

Pseudo Beef Chili
I made this yesterday and it turned out to be very tasty. I know that sometimes people post requests for recipes that will cut the fat and get more vegetables into a carnivorous spouse's diet. This is a great they'll-never-know-it's-not-beef recipe, and since the carrots are pureed, they won't know they're in the mix, either! Just keep 'em out of the kitchen while you're making it and they'll never be the wiser. ;)( Pseudo Beef ChiliCollapse )

So, did anyone here get a new crockpot for Christmas? If so, what model? Do you like the features?

Hi all! I want to make Ham in the crock tomorrow. I have this recipe
1 3-5 lb canned ham cut in half
1 can crushed pineapple
¾ cup brown sugar
1 12 oz can COKE
Place all of the above in a crockpot set on low. Allow to cook for 4-6 hours.
I have made this before and I do love it but I kind of want to make it a different way this time. Anyone else have a ham crock pot recipe to share?
